Dr. Mathew focuses on providing patient-centered chiropractic care to the city of Vaughan and the town of Maple that gets his patients out of pain. He inspires, educates, and provides them with the tools to live happier and healthier. He focuses on establishing proper movement and strength through a healthier spine, mobile joints and nervous system, which decreases pain, and improves performance. His patients feel better, move better, and live better.
Dr. Mathew hails from Toronto, Ontario, where he developed an early interest in, and passion for wellness through his participation in sport and athletics. After a traumatic neck injury suffered during his martial arts training that went unresolved with other traditional and alternative care, Dr. Mathew was introduced to chiropractic. The care, compassion and comprehensive treatment that were provided to cure the complaint led Dr. Mathew on a path towards becoming a health practitioner. While attending the University of Toronto, Dr. Mathew received an honors Bachelor of Physical and Health Education, which fostered his passion for anatomy, physiology and exercise science.
While continuing to enjoy the many opportunities that are offered to the sporting enthusiast, Dr. Mathew further delved into the chiropractic field as a patient and observer. Witnessing the incredible power of manual therapy to allow the body to heal itself, and for people’s lives to be enhanced in a positive, drug-free manner was truly inspiring. Dr. Mathew was welcomed into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Class of 2015 immediately after completing his undergraduate degree. He most recently graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic. As part of his clinical experience, Dr. Mathew provided treatment and wellness care to the town of Bronte (Oakville) and North York during his clinical year at CMCC. In his free time Dr. Mathew enjoys spending time outside cycling, golfing, snowboarding, fitness training and with family and friends. He is passionate about food, eating healthy and cooking. First and foremost, Dr. Mathew is dedicated to being a lifelong learner, driven to continually improve academically and personally by staying current on new medical research, learning new foreign skills, and traveling abroad.
